Understanding A Womens Spiritual Transformation Group

By Larry Foster

When it comes to women, there is often a disconnect with the male aspect of God. While this is the case, there are also feminine aspects of Source or the divine which are often overlooked. As such, many women are now participating in a Womens Spiritual Transformation Group which can provide a great deal of help and support when it comes to connecting and strengthening body, mind and spirit.

One Austin based group is structured in a way that is aimed at those whom are looking to live a more peaceful and unified life. In this particular program, women are advised on how to grow closer to source and create better overall physical and spiritual well being. In some cases, women are taught to listen for inner-wisdom. Whereas, in others, women are taught to listen to the voice of God or a higher power.

While some meet on a weekly basis, there are others whom meet once or twice a month. Whether working to become closer to God, the Father, or a more feminine aspect of the creative force, most are looking to improve physical and spiritual health through the process of community and discussion. As such, attendees often work together as a group and individuals to create a deeper understanding of the divine presence in the world.

Some people believe that each individual has a sense of inner-wisdom which has existed since before, and at birth. Whereas, there are others whom believed that any and all knowledge whether spiritual or otherwise is something that is learned throughout life. In either case, these groups work to enhance listening and learning in ways that are greatly beneficial when it comes to growing and strengthening body, mind and spirit.

The goal of most of these events is to cultivate and grow the authentic self whether in line with God's will, or as a human being. Whether looking for insight as a Christian or otherwise, the goal is often the same, to eliminate blockages and attachments which can hold one back from growing in body, mind and spirit. While this is the case, the overall objectives for each individual can often differ.

As with many courses and programs, some groups may include home work in which women take home assignments designed to focus on improving a specific area of life. While this is the case, this work is rarely a requirement for attending the group. Although, those whom do complete the assignments will most likely gain the most out of the experience.

In some cases, these events last only a few weeks to a month. Whereas, there are others whom have been meeting for years with no official end-date. As such, women can attend and grow at a pace that is comfortable for each specific individual. In either case, women most often gain a greater sense of self and overall physical and spiritual health and well being throughout the process.

Ultimately, whether attending an event for a specific amount of time or on an indefinite basis, women can benefit greatly. For, while the self-awareness and personal growth can be greatly beneficial, the lessons learned can also benefit friends and loved ones. As such, it is not only the women whom attend these sessions whom benefit but others as well.
