Most depressed being tend to deny that fact because they are not that sure how other people would react to their condition. It is sad that there still are some who choose to think that this is a made up sickness and an excuse. When truth is, its just as severe and risky as other terminal diseases.

Somehow, that loneliness they feel from having themselves outcast from the crowd is what causes the pain and feeling of being unwanted. They tend to think they are not enough and that the world may be better without them around. Sometimes, no matter how deep they are sinking, all they need is someone who cares.

This is the reason why most depressed individual tends to feel as if they are alone and everyone has left them. Its simply because they have hard time communicating what they really feel and when they have the courage to do so, not everyone would understand or at least keep an open mind to console and be there for them.

There are so many things that can be a reason behind that and it is the therapist job to assess and distinguish that to help further in providing the needed medication.

Every reason deems a different kind of treatment. There are instances where prescription are given to control how their brains and hormones are acting. But, to be actually better for the longest time, there is a need to incorporate the therapy with other useful activities such as meditation, exercise, eating on the right time and spending some quality moments with people that matter.

That includes encouraging their patients to engage in sports and fun activities. Yes, this can be a challenge for them but they should at least try. Aside from that, they can talk to their co patients and share some experiences to make these people understand that someone out there are having the same feeling and they are not alone like they thought they have been.

It can take plenty of time before everything gets better but this is for the best. Along with support from the members of the family as well as friends, this sure could help save a life of someone who matters. Its time to recognize that mental illnesses is just as fatal as physically recognizable disease out there.
