Reasons To Go To First Baptist Church Coward

By Sandra Cooper

The place people go to have a way of affecting them either positively or negatively. That is why people are encouraged to mind the places they visit to avoid bringing trouble upon themselves. Baptist Church Coward is one place you are sure to go to and be happy for the rest of your life. Apart from the spiritual benefits which include getting to know the Lord better and being more ready for Heaven, there are other health and social importance attached to the practice.

Going there will keep your feet from being at the wrong places. A young man, for example, will be able to avoid the temptation to go and steal with a fellow if he is in a congregation of God's people at the time when the contact would have been made. Young men who are not sure of their friends should therefore always try to avoid them.

Some people strongly believe that whatever medicine cannot cure can be cured in the church. They believe this so well because they have heard and seen people whose conditions were changed overnight and some also believe because it happened to them. Miracles happen during Holy Communion, Prayers and in praises sessions. These miracles add to the number of years the beneficiaries live on earth.

The Bible read in churches gives encouragement. Certain parts of the Bible when read on a Sunday service give hope to the destitute. People who are on the verge of throwing in the towel suddenly find the strength to run and they finally pull through.

There is no better place to get edified than in the church. That is why some songs, when sung at home during personal quiet time, do not make as much impact to the upliftment of the soul as it does when sung in a congregation. People even get the leading to download some Christian songs for their quiet times after been blessed by it during a worship session in church.

Being a member of the Baptist church is an opportunity to please God by doing His work. Although God prefers obedience to sacrifice, he still values sacrifice and blesses every bit of it. Members who have sacrificed one thing or the other to other members who were in genuine need of something can attest to this fact.

Apart from giving to the poor, members serve God by serving others in the church. Some serve as choristers, some as ushers, and some as stewards. Some are given Bible passages to read, understand and share their benefits to other members of the congregation. So it is actually a place to be blessed and to bless others.

Children learn to be well mannered when taken to the Sunday school in Baptist Churches. They are taught by men and women who share their childhood experiences with them. They combine these teachings with the word of God by reading the Bible which the children learn to be infallible and suitable for correcting and teaching. Thus, parents exercise little efforts in bringing up their children the right way at home.
