Incidents Involving Salvation Through Faith

By Steven Stewart

For a very long time, people have developed different religions. They include Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism and the most common one which is Christianity. Christians believe that about two thousand years ago, God sent His only son to cleanse them of all their misdoings. This can be found in their Holy Book which is the Bible. The bible is believed to have been written over two thousand years ago, and it is through it we learn all about Salvation Through Faith.

The bible has quite some verses that talk about salvation, grace, and trust. The first is Ephesians 2:8-9. It primarily speaks about Christians being saved by their faith. This means that the grace of God will always be upon you and protect you from all evil as long as you have complete and strong faith in him. This means that without trust, a relationship with God will not be strong compared to when you do have trust.

The Bible talks about Adam and Eve being the very first of the human race. They were placed in the garden of Eden. The only rule was not to eat from the tree in the middle of the garden. They were warned of the consequences, but they chose to ignore it.

The bible compares the relationship between God and human beings with the relationship between a shepherd and his sheep. When you go to a farm and observe how sheep behave around the shepherd, you would understand. They completely trust their shepherd and always go in the direction he chooses for them.

They have faith they will not come to any harm as long as the shepherd guides them. This is the same between Christians and God. Christians should follow that He will not lead astray if they want to be saved.

Christians believe that the ten commandments given to Moses in Exodus twenty are meant to build their trust in God. The commandments are the laws that were spelled out by God himself on what Christians were to do if they wanted to experience his grace. They have been following this law since before the times of Jesus. This is a pure act of faith meaning that they believe in following the laws because, at the end of it all, they will be saved from the lake of fire.

The fact that Adam and Eve's per took in the forbidden fruit showed God that they had no faith in him. They thought they would be better knowing right from wrong. However, if they choose to have faith in him, they would have enjoyed living in the garden of Eden for eternity. They would have been saved from the hard life of the earth only if they believed in God.

All in all, the Christianity religion is based on trust. Without faith one is bound to wither away in the earthly life, and their agony is to continue in the afterlife. This means if one does not have faith in God, they are doomed to burn forever in the fires of hell.
