Velvet Verses Leatherette Alex Velvet USA Jewelry Displays

One of the biggest mistakes a retailer can make is not purchasing or purchasing too few jewelry displays and jewelry boxes. Displays do more than organizing your jewelry; they help bring the customers eye toward your products. Avoid all displays with bells and whistles. The best displays are the basic ones, after all, you do not want to bring attention to the Alex Velvet USA Jewelry Displays but to the jewelry which is on it. Good displaying ideas are color groupings.

You want to attract the customer's eye to the ornaments and not the display. The ornaments display is there to draw the customers eye to your ornaments. If your customer points out how great your exhibits are, then you are doing something wrong.

Many experienced retailers also purchase ornaments boxes not just to give to their customers upon completing a sale but to display their ornaments in. The selection of boxes depends on the quality and style of the ornaments being sold. Again you want the customer's eye to go towards the ornaments and not the ornaments box.

The box needs to simply bring their attention to your ornaments. Higher quality ornaments needs to be displayed in higher quality boxes such as Rosewood or Leatherette style boxes. Displaying your ornaments using ornaments boxes also increases sales of lower end ornaments. Usually, cotton filled ornaments boxes are sufficient here.

Unique designs require unique display cases and depending on your supplier, will range in cost as well as effectiveness. You would not want a display that was made of red wood if you needed something different. Displays will range in materials, shapes, sizes, colors, and costs. You certainly should think about using ornaments displays in your own shop.

Go with companies that offer a wide selection, otherwise you will be are forced into buying exhibits that are not quite right, and this could greatly affect your sales. Since quality and styles are different, you do not want to be switching companies too often as your ornaments exhibits will begin to look too different, thus detracting from your ornaments. Velvet colors available include dark blue, gray, pink, red and burgundy. Colors can brighten your store but remember, separation of colors is essential.

If you've looked everywhere and just can't seem to find one that you like, why not consider making your own? Crafty people are happy to share their ideas if you can't decide on something, and very often will give you great design tips on how to work with certain wires or metals. By creating your own, you can also make it to fit whatever size specifications you need it to.

With jewelry display set ups, as with anything, test, and change according to the results. Also, every couple of months change your exhibits, either move them around or purchase new and different exhibits. You will be surprised at how simply changing a few exhibits, and their locations increase business. It gives your store a fresh look, and that will attract repeat customers.
